Automated Picking System:
In 1997, Kinray was the first "independent" wholesaler
in the United States to install a fully automated on-line
order fulfillment system. The A-Frame contains 7,500 channels
that handle 85% of Kinray's volume and packs shipments at
a rate of 2,000 orders per hour, with 100% accuracy. As
a result, Kinray is able to produce a faster turn around
time and earlier deliveries to its loyal customers. With
the addition of a second A-Frame this year, Kinray will
be able to ship and pack orders faster than ever.
